When I was invited to create a video installation for AAI’s pearl street gallery as part of BODY, they explained that usually passersby can look in the window to see the art show inside... but since the work I’m showing isn’t for all ages, they’d be putting up blackout curtains on the big windows. It gave me an idea, what if we created a vinyl window sticker of smut, that indicated a bit of what’s inside but in a way that’s safe for public art.

So here is an excerpt of a love poem Lore Elisabeth wrote to me during her 2.5 year bid in federal prison. The imagination and beauty of her words continue to stun me. What an honor to collaborate with her on getting these words up in this way.
